Love in the Buff

Life is tough. Why not treat yourself some laughs by watching a good movie. "Love in the Puff" was one of my favorite movie in 2010. The story was based on a HK local couples, love, friendship, Karaoke, text message and cigarettes. Last night, I went to watch "Love in the Buff" - the sequel of "Love in the Puff". The storyline was good and also some surprise from some 90s singers. I was laughing from the beginning till the end.

Penang Fever - Assam Laksa

Last two weeks, I was invited to a friend's home for Malaysian food. They cooked us " Assam Laksa" which is a famous street food in Penang, Malaysia. The soup is made by fish, assam, chili, tomato and lots of ingrediant that I don't know about it. Also, they will put cucumber, pineapple, mints and a spoon of shrimp paste before you eat.

I had my first bowl of assam laksa was in 2003 when I worked as a flight attendant. I was so amazed by the street foods both the price and taste!

Here is a recipe that you can try to have a glimpse of Malaysia.

Mojito Party

A friend of mine bought me this Mojito hand soap from Bath & Body Works. I always love their products - they always suprise me with new flavors but i never thought of Mojito - a fusion of lemon slices, sparkling pomelo and crushed mint leaves, layered with orange zest and iced sugar cane. That sounds so refreshing!

Bento Appetit

Recently bought a new lunch box from Homeless. I was attracted by the colors first - black and red. It's very rare to have this matching in lunch box - reminds me Japanese take away sushi box.
There are spork, a plastic that seperate food and a sauce container. My favorite part is the cover - there is a circle area - you can flip another side to place your sauce there. It's perfect for sushi or salad dipping!
